Guys, I'm located in NOIDA. Am looking for a low table to accommodate a TV and Blu-Ray player. It's a 47" TV, and I'd give preference to something sturdy, rather than something fancy, since it's a rented place, and the item will likely be travel with me, when I leave NOIDA, i.e. it's not a permanent fixture to the house.

Do TV showrooms, like LG shoppe's sell such things? Or would I save some dough if I got something made by a carpenter, or wood showroom? Or would a local furniture showroom have something suitable?

Am not sure, but will a glass stand crack with the weight of the TV? Please guys, need help ASAP, buying the TV this weekend.

glass stand might crack.. it will be like 25-30kg odd and bd plsyer. .. if it dosent crack.

it might be on the verge of it.. one mild shock n gone.. dont take that risk..

also dont go to big showroom.. they might have fancy item rather than sturdy one..

ask a carpenter do build a sturdy one for you..

pros :

you can get ur design and colour

cheaper..

get a fixed one or one with lockable wheels.

I got a similar low height LCD TV stand from Zuari furniture. They do have sturdy ones which are quite trendy as well.
