I might have an old DVD player which I did use as an audio cd player for a while. Used it's optical out to a dac. Let me know if that interests you, I'll try to dig it out.

I have a European design DVD player. Checked the insides it's top notch. Doesn't read properly though I feel it's an easy fix for a tech guy. Want it ?
