I sincerely apologize for not responding as soon as I received the package. I liked to test the unit and give a listening impression too. The package reached me safe (nice packing) via Bluedart. I finished making the PSU today evening. The sound is pretty good and everything works alright! I gave it to my mom. My heartfelt thanks to you :signthankspin:

I opened it up, brushed a little and cleaned the lens (dusty) with a bud and fluid. It reads CD faster and opened up the sound li'l more (typing this listening to FM playing 'kanchi re kanchi')..Good day!

I would like to give away the following two items:

1. Asus CD writer (IDE port) + IDE cable
2. Moser Baer DVD writer (IDE port) + IDE cable

These work just fine as far as I know but haven't used them for sometime. I am located in Bangalore (I work in Electronic City and live nearby).

Also, I am looking for a pair of headphones with mic. If you have one such pair and would like to give them away, please let me know. Please note that I am only looking for headphones with mic (for Skype meetings). Thanks!

How can I have the Kishore Kumar - Live at Los Angeles CD........I am from Kolkata.Is it the double CD pack or single CD......the entire original concert was released by EMI HMV in 1979 in double cassette and LP format.........

Got the call and collected the package on 1st April evening from Professional courier regional office. I opened the package and everything seemed fine except for a few broken/cracked CD crystal cases.:thumbsup:

Cleaned up all the CDs and covers. Most of them had a white powder like substance on the CD and inside the cover, presumably Polystyrene. Some CDs were cleaned using HP lens cleaning solution and other with lens cleaning brush, so no extra scratches happened, guaranteed.

Seems like they did take a 'good care' of the parcel. I will put a detailed list of titles of CDs and the requester + any unclaimed CDs asap!

Went to a place called Calicut (400km from Tvm). was bed ridden after food poisoning (very uncomfortable for few days). Probably the food from train or something else did the 'trick'. For the first time in my life, somebody stole my wallet yesterday.

Lost my driver's licence, voter's card, my atm cards, few hundred bucks etc. reached home today with nothing. The only good news is that I was able to procure some ARR title copies from FM 'Designation' (Thanks a ton to him). A good collection of ARR titles he has and a good AV setup.

once one man's pocket was picked and he was left without a ticket. some co-passengers got worried for him and asked him what he will do if he is caught by the TC. To that he replied "I carry a spare ticket in my other pocket"

Co-passengers were surprised and decided to pull his leg. Asked him what if the other pocket is also picked. To that he replied "no worries. I carry a season pass also in my other pocket".Co passengers fainted.
