Thin vertical line on my panasonic th-p42u30d plasma

My set has logged on 800+ hours and i have watched only HD content.......no SD channels.....the quality this set deliers is truly outstanding and it was improving with each hour with a remarkable difference between pre and post 500 hours.....it easily beats the hell out of any other set out there except its own later versions.....If i get a choice of replacement set or credit note i would be glad to take the set and continue enjoy my viewing...
 
update

today i recievd my replacement from panny department they gave me.. ut50d in exchange to u30d.. well i must say my u30d was better in performance then ut50d.. coz reflection was less on my u30d.. but ut50d is latest model so somewhat happy ..

and can anybody explain what is diff b/w g14 and g15 panel. i asking bcoz on my u30d ther was a glass and on my ut50d it dsnt have..

Registered a compaint to cc.Technician came after 3days, tested and took photos. He said that they will resolving the issue in 3weeks. They will be giving the replacement after getting confirmation from the HQ.

He also mentioned that if the same plasma is not available ,the replacement will be a LCD.

I got same answer for ST50 replacement..guess end of days for plasma.

Did you ask them to offer 2013 Plasma say UT60 in April? Guess that would give visibility to their Plasma plans in India...
 
Got the replacement for my tv P42U30S. They gave P42UT50D by yesterday as the earlier model was not available.It took nearly 2 months to get it.

That's great. It has 3D also.

But you got a replacement plasma? Wasn't everyone supposed to get replacement LED?

After I reassemble the boards on my Plasma TV it started working fine but there were pink vertical lines in center portion of the TV. I figured out it was because of the loose connection on small white ribbon cable between the C1 (C10) and C2 (C20) boards. The ribbon cable was loose where it connected on the C1 board (C10). So I re seated it and the Vertical lines went away? . Initially I tried to re seat the brown/Tan ribbon cable with a metal heat sink and driver IC which connected to the connector CB4 on the C1 board which was going inside the Plasma screen and was located on the bottom of the plasma screen. But i did not resolve the pink vertical lines. Then I realized that since I had removed all the ribbon cables going to different board while I was trouble shooting for the 13 Red blink hence I must have not re-seated them properly. So i tried re-seating all of them one by one again and after i re-seated the tiny (hardly 1 inch long) cable connecting the C10 (C1) board to the C20 (C2) board the problem of pink vertical lines was resolved. So now I have a fully working Panasonic Plasma Th-42PV8H TV ?
