Audiophile music server running XBMC - YouTube

Here are his comments

@XxKYFERxX The phone does not stream music, it merely acts as a remote control for the system. There is a dedicated media PC which runs XBMC. The phone runs a program called XBMC Remote, which allows me to interact with the media PC (queue music, play, pause, browse collection, etc,? etc).

Wonder if there is an app for windows mobile.

with windows phone new apps can only be downloaded via markeplace and cannot install directly. I found some apps already on marketplace :) however the best one is a time trail/buy and the free one's not that great. but this is so cool.. no more fiddling with the keyboard/mouse/remote..i need to try this asap.

i guess you mean this
Apple - iTunes - Remote

yes looks cool.

actually the mobile remote apps have really got me excited as the pain of operating my htpc (manily with monitor , keyboard etc.) was driving me towards a squeeze box type of device. If this works, i just need to stack the PC somewhere, already got a wireless+ NAS and its all seems so convinient.

Thats the official XBMC remote application for the same, which is what I use for my HTPC as well. Plus I also have the Android remote for foobar, VLC and Total Media Theater 5. I also have an application called "Remote Launcher" to launch almost any application on windows via my Android Phone. But I mainly use it to switch on my HTPC remotely via Wake On Lan support in the application itself. Then I have this awsome versatile application called EventGhost, that monitors every action you take on your PC which it calls events and then you can configure to automate those events with small predefined scripts. I mainly use it to controll my windows application from within XBMC, when I boot in to it directly without loading windows. ,,.....

few of the applications I have discussed in my intro videos under my HTPC thread ....:)
