OK Guys, This is my first post and after reading through the various threads, I have shortlisted the below models:

Toshiba 39P2305ZE 39 inches LED TV - Toshiba: Flipkart.com

And

Samsung 40 Inch LED TV India, Buy USB Full LED TV Specs - OVERVIEW

My usage:
1. The family would either watch daily sops or watch the songs.
2. Weekend would be watching movies, this would happen from either 500 GB HDD or thought Google chrome cast (I am yet to purchase it) or through HDMI.
3. Youtube watching from chrome cast.

Toshiba: This is available from flipkart at around 33k with 3 year warranty
Samsung: This is available at grey market at around 35k.

I am not able to decide on which one to go for. Looking here to get the help :)

I would say Toshiba -39p2305ze, not only because I'm using it but a Grey Samsung is a very Risky business.

With Toshiba you get Good PQ, Compatibility, Great Sound Quality, Peace of mind for three years & this model, toshiba-39p2305ze has been sold in good numbers by Toshiba.

There is a world of difference between the Toshiba you have selected and the one below.

Toshiba 39L3300 39 inches LED TV - Toshiba: Flipkart.com

Choose wisely. Don't try to save a few bucks and lose out on all the goodness.

There isn't any world of difference IMO.
The 39l3300 & 39P 2305 differs in the Smart capability that too it pays Youtube, which can be achieved by buying a chromecast or similar device.
But the 39P 2305 has the sound bar Other than that the Spec are the same & the panel is the same,

I am the guy who started that thread and can assure you that P2305 wont leave you unhappy. Wonderful panel an amazing price.

In fact, earlier I thought that Toshiba TVs are not good, but that perception changed when I read your review.
Thanks a lot.

Purchased google chromecast from eBay with 20% off. That is another matter that I haven't bought the LED.... [emoji13]

There is much of a difference which i could notice.
Here are some which i could make out.
39" L3300 has Turbo Led and screen mirroring which they showcase. Also the power consumption is a little bit more (123W). Other than these both are same. And 39" P2305 has a sound bar. This is what i could make out.

Finally purchased Toshiba P2305 39 inch LED. [emoji2][emoji2][emoji2].
Should be delivered today.
Any one can help me on how to check the usage on it?

Congrats bro!

BTW what's the price?
I think there is no way to check the usage hours in this model. However I suggest u to go through the P2305 users thread in this forum to get to know more.
You need to look yourself by other ways as suggested in the sticky thread 'Checklist to avoid buying demo piece'.
Hope this helps!

You are in the service menu and if there is any place to see the usage hours I am pretty sure it is some where in the service menu itself. You need to figure out the navigation buttons for service menu.
By the way which method out of the 3 or 4 in the video did you follow to get to the service menu?

^ did. 3 times mute on remote. Again mute on remote and hold. Then press menu on panel and left both button.
