I recently bought Toshiba Led 32P2305 TV from Snapdeal. TV is amazing for its price but the warranty card comes with TV says only 1 year warranty. Though on snapdeal & other stores it shows 3 years manufacturer warranty. So i am bit confused abt it whethr i will get cover for 3 yrs or not. Thanks

I am not sure how Toshiba's warranty system works, but some other companies which provide warranty beyond the first year ask you register with them to avail the extended warranty. So call Toshiba's customer care and check with them.

The warranty card gives two options:
Models like PT/PS/PC/PU/PX/PB series have 1yr warranty + 2yrs extended warranty. Probably your model comes under the options "other series".
Do your warranty card mention's something like this. Or does it specify about your model. If not - then you would have to go with 1yr warranty.
I checked for your model number - and they say its 3yr warranty.
You may need to write to toshiba and get a reply - rather than call them and take the confirmation over the phone. By-that-way you would have written reply stating whether you have 1yr or 3yrs.

Thanks sgmane..

My warranty card dont have any model no. or any information abt my purchase. It only says comprehensive 1 yr warranty on toshiba led/lcd tv. Even it dont have any warranty card no. I will call or write toshiba n ask abt whther i have to register my product on their site to get 3 yrs warranty.

You would have not got your information on the warranty card, probably because you have got it through online.
When the installation guy came in, what did he inform you about the warranty? Normally online purchases, the product will not be opened (neither during the showroom/dealer purchase) until installation happen's to make sure warranty is not void.
But when the installation guy, open's up the product, he would get the barcodes (or the machine code readable format - which is inside in a small strip that's has probably 3-4 same barcode formats to be used) which he would stick it on your warranty card. This will be a unique id for your product.Did you see that?
If its a showroom/dealer/retailer purchase - you can take the warranty card (along with machine code that's stuck) for a dealer stamp/sign on the card. Do check with the customer care for your purchase (because its online)

please confirm with the company asap. don't want to scare you but, my friend got this exact model in dirt cheap ~18K from hypercity, bangalore, sometime in sept 2013.
He had hardly used it for 2 weeks only with his Xbox and TV developed some serious issues, and the company has taken it for repair. Now its over 4 weeks he is struggling very hard to get it repaired.

18k so cheap! I think only should always double check the model (demo or otherwise) if its quoted much less. A 32" toshiba is in the price range 26k-35k in the showrooms (specific model and to bangalore) (may be minus of 2000 or so in online). This is not only applicable to Toshiba. But for any brand if you see a huge discount, you would need to think twice before its purchased.

yes it was on-sale for 23K, he was just checking the model casually and the sales executive glued to him, to get rid of him my friend offered 18K ( he was confident they wont accept) but to his surprise they were ready as that was the last piece & they wanted to get rid of..
