Tube Amplifier vs Solid state amplifier

please share your thoughts on

I have used multiple SS amps but never a tube one. do you find any specific advantage with tubes over SS amps?

I am planning to buy a new amp to drive Klipsch Heresy 3 speakers (99DB sensitivity)

With the heresy you cannot go wrong with a SET. Check the Lyrita SET.

The main difference between solid state and tubes is 2nd order harmonics.
Tubes are sweet, ss are clean.
Tubes are warm , ss are neutral.
Tubes are low wattage, ss are high.
Tubes are pricy , ss are low cost.

First and foremost the driver you are using , get references.
For klipsch tube amp or Class A amp with a Tube pre works best. And the tube must work on its non linear region.

the exact opposites also abound vis Sweet/Warm/Low wattage and pricey SS and the reverse of the above for tubes as well. More than tubes or SS it depends in the design /topology and voicing

The inherent advantages of tube vs SS can be discussed and debated ad nauseam but never simplified
