Can I go in for an UPS 600 VA (APC), instead of stabilizer? cost about Rs 2-2500/-

I will be installing a Sony 46HX800, Tata Sky+ HD and the Blu-Ray player. The electricity goes of for 2-4 minutes at time.

On a routine basis, the power is off for 2-4 minutes only. That I think is the sufficient backup I require (<10 minutes)!!
