Sammy guys attributed the issue to faulty MB of this particular model. Came to know of it when i met 2 more guys @ Service Centre with exactly same problem in the same BD player. All 3 of us got this BD player as a free gift bundled with a Sammy TV bought in 2014 during Diwali.
