hi all,
i am for sure buying today TV. So was confused between
Sony EX 520 and LG LV 5500.
i have auditioned both the TV. Here is my thoughts
1. Sony- HD looks good. Standard Defination was ok. I tried to play a few clips from USB. It recognized a few formats avi, mpeg,
2. I auditioned 2 LG LV models 3500 ( 60hz) and 5500 ( 120hz).
in 60hz tv what i noticed is if u play a HD Clip ( which not a pure hd like 1920*800) the judders were easily visible. But the same clip played on LG LV 5500 the judders reduced.( not completely but the view was smooth).
LG LV 5500 is a IPS panel, 120hz, supports 1TB. The ui widgets were good.
SD was of normal channels were ok. HD channels were good. I kind of liked the TV.
The issue is that the salesman kept on pushing that nobody buys LG TV, A lot of them just come and buy Sony. So kind of enquiring my choice in the forum.
