Hi,
Have to book it tommorow so need urgent opinion.
32 inches- which one to choose and why?
Sony EX520 Led or Samsung D5900 led

Also if samsung then how to make sure its the right panel?

Kindly reply asap.

Btw i checked both side by side at Croma today and Samsung looked better than the sony one atleast in PQ.

I have seen sony ex-520. what immediatly caught my attention was poor veiwing angle. do check yourself before deciding.

Poor viewing angles ?compared to what?

The EX520 comes with a SPVA panel ,this tech has the best viewing angle of all other VA based panels.
It only looses out to IPS panels and plasma in viewing angle.but has the sheer contrast edge over the IPS panels.

EX520 was placed along EX720 and if I remember correctly 40" BX series.
I was standing infront of samsung plasma and could see those bravia's at about more than 45 deg off-centre.
immediatly notices one of the TV's had very dim picture, which made me curios to to have a closer look.
EX720 showed good contrast even at 45 deg., but ex520 was sadly no match.
front -on things got almost evened out.
Do check for yourself.

Buddy you do realize you are comparing an upper entry level TV to a upper mid range TV right ? There is significant price difference between EX520 and EX720 and its not reasonable to expect same performance from EX520.

Bought Samsung D5900 finally and got the blu ray player free as well :)
Now the only concern remains where to source the blu rays at a cheap price?

Wharfedale Linton Heritage Speakers in Walnut finish at a Special Offer Price. BUY now before the price increase.
