An interactive panel vendor told me there is a 135" video wall technology which as of today is only available for non commercial purpose. Theaters are wanting to make a living out of this but the vendors cant sell them under licence agreement to theaters. Anybody seen this?

but So many questions. I know I'm a big dunce. but anyway few are here.
1. "... only available for non commercial purpose"
- I searched the definition can't make out what are those.
Is it only for Govt. , social groups , public installments ,Schools or Edu industry( sorry, but these is a commercial shops IMO) .
is running these , or any TV in my living room be not considered as Non-commercial purpose? So we can use this right ?
2. "vendors cant sell them under licence agreement to theaters"
- by whom, who are the parties involved and to what purpose or intended social cause ?

Good questions. He said that "theaters" were ideal potential clients but they cant as of now sell for theaters. It is for private viewing only they have secured licence to distribute as of now. So it is just more info he gave. It starts from Rs.15 lakhs onwards.

I am guessing these video walls are different from LED cinema which is also made up of Panels. In case anyone doesnt know here are atleast 5 LED mainstream commercial theatres in the country in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. This "Onyx'' screens are made up of panels by Samsung. So they may be having some proper agreement with theatres. Bangalore's Swagat is the largest LED screen cinema of country and the quality is breathtakingly beautiful. Once one has compared a movie here with any other place, then even imax cant hold a candle to this image perfection.

Anyway i am also curious for this topic. If these are available for home theatre purpose for individuals, i wonder how much they wll cost and obviously they ll face all fire from Large Size TV brands.

Currently On a hunt for Real estate for a cousin, i recently went to a Total Environment project in bangalore near Hennur road. Their sales office has got some real large size TVs playing demos which were nearing 85 inches which was a sight to behold. but there was no hint of any brand there which makes me think most probably that was a low cost video wall tech as it looked very similar to the one in pic by OP here

The cost of these screens are huge - starting 15 lakhs plus. Most of these amount to 30 to 45 lakhs even. So with only private sales target customers, they are only affordable by such Real estate tycoons as advert and presentation display pieces or by wealthy individuals for private HT viewing avoiding projectors. Mainstream brands surprisingly only sell panels and have not entered mass production and smaller interactive panel manufacturing brands usually aren't trusted by customers for after sales support. So these remain unnoticed by us but there are such vendors who cater to large screens although they dont stock them. Even for demo purpose. Whats even more challenging to establish a trust is they insist an upfront advance for a booking fee which is used for logistics. There is a wait time too. Most people do not want to gamble paying upfront and so these are not sold in high volumes I assume. Indiamart has such vendors but how can they assure if venfors are genuine or fly by night?

while reading news , came across this below, where are these available. - LG shows max of 88"OLED , does this too fall under "Commercial TV" for non-commercial usage?

Video walls are nothing new. I have seen it in Mumbai ages ago.
Not sure of what is video wall technology for a single screen.
Panasonic had marketed a 100" screen in India many years ago for an astronomical price.

The original meaning of video wall was a number of thin bezel panels connected together to form a very large display.

Yes, I suppose their utility would be more in commercial segment than domestic

Croma has Samsung 98" for Rs 16 odd lacs
The LG 98" can be seen on the net but unavailable.

You can special Order SAMSUNG 110" 4K HDR MicroLED The Wall TV for around 1.25Cr and the 99" version for around 95lakhs from select SAMSUNG stores in Metro Cities.

Wait a few more years(around 2025-2026) and prices be coming down to what 98" and 110" LED and OLED TVs are going for now. Still not be affordable for 98% but still be much much meaningful for 100" Z9D crowd or 98" LG 8K OLED crowd.
