name it. what titles you are looking for.
90 onwards was a very unstable market. many a titles weren t released on lp format 1990 onwards.
eg, 1942 a love story was released in 1992. no lp was issued until last year.
ditto with bombay, roja etc although last lp was produced in 94/95 not counting the recent slew of releases.

searching for Phir teri kahani yaad aayi, Baazigar, Darr, Naaraaz, Najayaz etc..etc..

Received a copy of the LP "Star" by Nazia & Zoheib Hassan (Music by Biddu) which is a 1982 release

At first I was apprehensive about indulging in Indian pressings as I have always thought that the original masters of these pressings were always found wanting. Anyways, I requested a copy of this album for sentimental reasons, we grew up listening to Nazia & Zoheib Hassan back in the early 1980s.

Dr. Rahil was kind enough to take pains to pack the LP properly complete with wooden supports, inside the packing. Received it in perfect condition.

The cover was surprisingly in good condition (just needed a bit of fevicol to paste it up. A surprise was that this LP was perhaps part of a special limited edition offer which included a little poster of Nazia Hassan. Was surprised to note that this poster was included as well.

Superficially dusted the LP and played it. Was surprised to note the quality of the pressing. Compared it with a new Saregama release "Jhoota Hi Sahi" and I would say that it sounded much better. Overall, I am an extremely happy camper.

The LP is in pretty good condition, no groove distortion (both outer and inner), tracked perfectly without a single skip or jump.

Was surprised to find the inner sleeve in pretty good shape (a bit torn but that's ok, I can mend it). The inner sleeve doubles up as a lyrics card, available in both english and hindi.

Dr. Rahil and others, I have a brand new (not played even once) LP of A R Rahman's Rock Star. A friend gave this to me. I was not interested as I did'nt quite like the music that I heard when I had my very own copy (sold this off).

Ready to trade this, complete with flipkart original packing with 2 Nazia Hassan LPs, Disco Deewane and Young Tarang (both LPs should be in good condition). If anyone is interested, please let me know.

For Nazia and Zoheb Hassan combo, immediately buy DILWALA (MIL LP, Bappi Lahiri), side A first track - "tonight pyar karo", extremely well recorded track which always fascinates me, if you don't have it get it ASAP as bollywood LPs have already become extinct, you must have DISCO DEEWANE, remember it has a UK pressing which is very much available in India, though I like the title track only
