want to buy Turntable

Mr.Naren called me this morning and I am really pleased that we have sorted out the issue. It was a case of a confusion caused by a communication slip. After informing him that I will courier the Head Shell, I had informed that I will I will fix it for him during my next visit to Bangalore. Unfortunately, he did not get this message while I thought he had. This flared up his temper and I do not blame him as he thought I was deliberately avoiding him and I was under the impression that he had got my message and waiting for me to visit him on my next trip. Well, this has been sorted out and I am arranging to courier the head shell on Monday. I have also sourced a original counter weight in Kochi and this will be couriered as soon as I get hold of it.

Fantastic news Sir! I don't know why, but I was feeling bad at whatever had happened. I feel HFV is like an extended family of mine and was getting a feeling that something is not right inside my family.

But now you give me the good news that everything is sorted out and this makes me immensely happy.:clapping:

Regards,
Saket

Good to know that the differences have been sorted out...I have purchased a Sony TT from Mr. Kuruvilla and very honestly speaking, I appreciate how the deal went on and how I got the TT from him. Let's not try to tarnish the image of the gentleman who has given life to lots of LPs biting dust...
Happy weekend...
cheers,
abhraneel

Yes, I did speak to him and we have mostly sorted it out. As has been reported by Mr. Kuruvilla, most of the issue was communication and I did do my bit trying to get a response (apart from calling him as I did not have his number - had not stored it), and only then did I vent my ire here, making it very clear that this was only my version. I hope people stop going on and on about 'tarnished' image, 'muck on a hero' et al. It never was my intention.
Anyway, I shall not comment on this issue any more, it is not necessary. Ta!

Thanks everyone for the advice. If you have a TT for sale please send me a PM with your contact no. I don't have enough permissions to send PM.

Glad to see everything is sorted out! Long live HFV

On a side note..even I bought my TT from Mr. Kuruvila and it was a great experience to say the least! I went to him personally ..he taught me the basics : operation, maintenance, etc...shared a few other tips a total beginner needs to know and then I brought it home! :)

It is a wonderful experience guiding new entrance to Vinyl how to go about it in the best possible way. Some of the FMs I remember guiding in their earlier days and I am so happy they are full fledged vinyl users like peace_sells and mpw to name just a few.
