Dark Ambient is not a solitary genre.99% of it is made by metal musicians who have gone keyboard-crazy and contains zero or little elements of metal.Recommendations would be Vinterriket, Amaka Hahina, Ildjarn, Pazuzu, Equimanthorn, Aghast and a few albums by Abruptum, Black Funeral and Beherit.

when you say keyboard crazy - is this electronic keyboard or acoustic
