Warranty for online TV purchases no more..

I purchased an Panasonic online. I am located in Hyderabad , the Online dealer was from Chennai and he arranged with Panasonic HYD to come and install the TV.

Online purchases ( Indian ) are covered under warranty and the manufacturers do provide service. Of course this excludes the imported sets sold online which are not covered in India

I know this is OT, but does this include AV components as well?
