Hi,
I recently upgraded to a new 2d-TV from an older 3d-TV. My earlier setup was 3d disk - 3d player - 3d tv. Its now 3d disk - 3d player - 2d tv.
I wanted to know if I could continue watching my 3d bluray disc's, using my 3d bluray player, in 2d on the new 2d tv. Upon trying to play the bluray, an error screen shows up saying 'you need a 3d bluray player connected to a 3d tv'.
So I assumed this wasn't possible, but then came across an option in the bluray player wherein we can set 3d settings as 3d -> 2d. Attaching a screenshot. But it doesnt work. Has anyone faced the same problem? And is there any way? My player is a Samsung BD E5500 ZN, about 5-6 years old.
Thanks
