wharfedale signature series..or jm labs chorus 716

hi, i am getting wharfedale signature series evo2 30 and
FOCAL - 716V at almost the same price, what i should go for? i will be using them with marantz 5006 amp in a home theater.
please let me know asap.

Never heard the wharfs in question but have listened to the focal 716v. Found them better when compared to
polks rti a5/a7, wharf 10.6/10.7, paradigm monitor 7 v6 and few other Jamos and Klipsh in the same
price range (Cant recollect the models but were priced about 50 - 60 k). My vote would be for the
focal 716v.

best advice anyone can give you is to listen to it and go with what you prefer. each has his own listening preferences and you will know best

If you get a chance listen to both and decide (like afj) has mentioned.
We cannot entirely depend on specs. What sounds good to one's ears
may not be for the other. If possible take your marantz and audition.
