+1 to what Joshua says but the reality for buyers like me is that we also have to take a bit of risk when buying in lots. Whenever I've bought from the United States, the LPs have arrived as described and in great conditions. Sellers are generally very honest and value customer satisfaction. Indian sellers are the dodgy lot.
Also, please excuse the up-front nature of my posts on this subject. The flavour sounds a bit aggressive as I am a very up-front person by nature. I am always brutally honest about my findings and opinions. It is very important that all our new comers learn the rules of the game. The very future of vinyl and vinyl equipment depends on this. Yesterday, I was offered a Garrard 401 w/o tonearm/plinth for a whooping 1 lakh (he said it was restored by loricraft, whereas the pictures indicated it was locally painted). He claimed to be an audiophile who was "upgrading" but he sounded like a dealer cum enthusiast to me. Recently I was offered a Garrard 4HF turntable for 18k and a Garrard type A for 15k. Was offered another Garrard 5HF turntable in a custom plinth and shure cart for 35k. This will give you a clear indication of what I am talking about.
