What would you buy for 1.5 lkh or 10,000 dhs ?

Im looking to buy a good AV/home theatre system - to be used 70% for movies and 30% for music - what is the best buy for this budget, I have only a low-medium knowledge on AV, pretty much your run of the mill user... earlier I have used Yamaha+Technics then had a Sony package home system (4 stand speaker).. and now looking to buy something better.. maybe Yamaha/Onkyo with KEF/Wharfedale ?
