Was just wondering about some of the brand names that we come across the hifi community, which to might put off a rational being.
Some of my favorites - Voodoo cables, Esoteric, Benchmark.
Voodoo, seriously ? One of the more controversial departments in the hifi community being cables and interconnects, some folks decided to actually justify it and build a business around it ?
And then, Esoteric, which is a more popular and respected name around here, but why such a name, if its all about science ?
And Benchmark. They probably had a psych dept to come up with that adjective, for a proper noun !
