I have sony. It outputs good quality in A/V than other brands but has few issues in subtitles, menus & navigation between folders from hdd

I owned LG & it is very goof for Video, subtitles & it is very fast & i could say it is the best in BDP's

I have the Toshiba 3200KE brought from Germany. It is a very good player with good upscaling features and usb support. The disc loading time is also very good. Above all this player can be made region free with custom firmware which I did and now it plays all region dvds/blu-rays. The only drawback which I have seen so far is that it down mixes the DTS-HDMA audio to DTS core but works perfectly for Dolby Tru-HD.

Thanks

you can send RAW signals to yr AVR if yr BDP has option of outputting RAW or Pass-Thru (For audio/digital signal) in the blu ray player.. Check settings menu

Yes I have set it as bit-stream and even then it sends out by down mixing and my receiver shows as PCM with 5.1 channels. The DTS-HD Master Audio does not lit up all. And also as per the manual it is clearly written as DTS-Core and hence no support for DTS-HDMA.

Thanks
