SONY BDP S-5100 through Amazon US. All region with WiFi. I like it a lot.

Seems I'm one with the forum favorite Sony, though technically I use a PS3 that also doubles as a blu-ray player.

Will be upgrading to PS4 when the 4K player happens.

I own Sony BDP-S790 Region 2 locked bought from Germany. Absolutely love the player. It is kind of future proof. It has all the smart features which are not there in my TV, so in combination, I am getting all the smart features.

am also using ps3 as my blu-ray player, but sometimes it kicks me out when i try to play some dvd bought locally .

Apart from the Oppo and Panna BD 70,I also have a Sharp (US) region free: apart from some idiosyncrasies, all three have performed very well.

I have a Samsung BD-D6700ZA 3D blu-ray player, shipped from the US in 2011. I had a non-3D ready AVR then, so was looking for a cheap-ish 3d Blu ray player with dual HDMI Outs and it was the cheapest at that time. Has been doing good for the last 4 years, hope I'm not tempting fate by saying that.

Does it support external .SRT file from ext HDD? this is a deal breaker for me.
