Which one is preferred - Marantz 6004 or Exposure 1010 S2?

don't discount the possibility of getting something like the Arcam rdac or Cambridge audio dac magic or music fidelity m1 and use digital out of existing DVD player. It may not meet the level of 2010 cdp but be comparable to 1010 (and the like). Flexibility is added bonus.

I've not heard the Arcam but the CA DacMagic did not float my boat. VDAC is definitely better.

I have the M1DAC (and its good) but I would definitely recommend the Rega DAC over it.

Integrated Amplifier for Project Debut & Q Acoustics 2050i

I am a newbie to this site and trying to revive my interest in vinlys.

Recently I purchased Pro Ject Debut Carbon and a separate Phono which I thought I will use with my sony home theatre system. However, while I was blasted by the demo on Q Acoustics 2050i speakers at dealers end, the output on sony has been a great let down.

While I understand this was expected to all (apart from me ) I am looking to put in place a 2 channel stereo system to compliment the project debut player. I have closed in on Q Acoustics 2050i floor standing speakers, and want to suppliment it with a good integrated amplifier. What options or brands can I explore in Bangalore? Any leads on likely price would definitely help.
