Which one to go for : Rel HT1508 Predator, SVS SB3000 or Rythmik (small form factor)

Ariendal available in India?

Yes it’s available. I have had demo of dual Arendal subs from one of. Chennai FM about 2.5 years back . The build quality, fit and finish and performance is very good .
But sad to say that in the recent past years almost all AV items prices have been hiked enormously by Distributors. So the price to performance ratio really matters now .
For subwoofers , the room, placement and calibration really matters .However have some demos of subs you are looking for to get the fair idea.

Hi Sarge,
I am happy with the Rel and it is better than my previous subs, Deftech procinema 1000 and SVS PC 2000.

There is more enjoyble midbass in the Rel. Though the PC 2000 use to dig sightly more deeper, I don't miss that. Gunshots and door slams have more impact with the Rel. The newer model 1510 is slightly more powerful and supposedly has more midbass as per reviews.
Other subs to consider are Arendal(10 year warranty and better build with HDF) , PSA, Rythmic, HSU, too. Pls take a look at these subs too if they work out cheaper.
The HT 1508 is good enough for music for my tastes and movies. Though I presume The T and S series would be better for music.
I needed a sub which would balance both.

Yes. 2 yrs back they are available. I think now no presence in India due to logistic issue.

If budget and space is not a constraint do check out Rhythmik FVX 12 or FVX 15 .No idea about actual prices now , but sure it would have skyrocketed in the recent years.
