Which TV you prefer the most?

LOL - its funny when ppl talk about power consumption when u r ready to spend half a lakh for the damn tv..


btw- its jus 170-200 bucks difference

@sudhishkv, I don't know whether you are reading this thread at all. I don't know what gives you the idea that plasma is costlier. Size per size, feature per feature, quality per quality, plasma comes out way superior and cheaper. I purchased my own 50ST50 for 105k. It is ranked as the best tv by cnet. Tell me which Lg cinema 3d model comes even close to the quality and at this size, at this price?

I don't have to show off - the tv shows itself off automatically. Everyone knows the price of the tv, but on hindsight it is best not to talk of price. Btw, I am comparing this tv with all lg lm7600 and above, samsung 6/7/8 series, sony hx850, etc. The only tv's that beat this model are gt50 and vt50.

But let me not just talk about st 50. Consider any plasma such as e470, e490, x/xt50, ut50, e550, in whatever size, etc. and compare it with any similar and slightly higher priced lcd/led model. The plasma will come out on top. And this is not what I say. Checks what the experts say.

He is stating a FACT. There is simply NO LG set that even comes CLOSE to ST50 performance. Not even 2 lac + LG TV.

Only Sony HX850 comes closest. But purely for movies ST50>HX850.

No LCD no matter sharp elite or Samsung smart robot LED or Sony series 9990 x 10 can match the performance of top end plasma.It is not just the real time blacks it is much more which plasma offers and the simple absence of back lighting,the purity in picture which LCD's can never have.

Yeah I know about Sharp Elite a great LED TV but have a look at price just double of VT the high end Plasma TV from Panasonic .

Yes price/performance ratio wise they are unbeatable for sure. But "no TV can beat GT/ST/VT50" isn't right. And not to mention all current TVs including VT50, Sharp Elite, Sony HX950 cannot match Pioneer Kuro Elite.

The forum is dominated by plasma and in particular Panasonic fans. So usually such a poll will result in skewed answers.
