Which Unavailable Blu-ray you MISSED MOST here in India !

Chandni Bluray is not yet released. It's just that its songs are released in Bluray in another Bluray disc containing songs from YashRaj films.

Yes, that's why I have asked for the link. Chandni songs are available in Lata compilation BD, released on Yash-Raj.

I am searching for blue ray disc of Aamir Khan's Lagaan, can anybody tell me where to locate one?

LAGAAN is not yet released on Bluray. It was announced way back in 2008 for releasing on Bluray, but it never happened.
Fans like us can just hope that such a great movie comes on Bluray soon!!

I'm afraid, the similar fate seems to happen with Rang De Basanti. Its bluray was announced in June 2013, now 4 months over and it is not yet released
Another example is...Paan Singh Tomar.

Possibility is there but not sure when, Ultra owns the rights of HAHK.

Rajshri movie "Vivaah" was released on Ultra Blu-Ray. But may be it is not sold in the market as expected so they have postponed the BD release project.

They should release HAHK or MPK first on Blu-ray to get good sales, sooner or later they may think about it.

'Hum Apke Hain Kaun' has any chance to be in Blu-ray?

This trailer is great, colors are bright. Seems the picture is cropped, added matching sound effects to keep the originality. I can feel the 3D in few scenes. Waiting for 3rd Jan :yahoo:

Colours are vivid and yup 3D is apparent.. seems they have done some hard work... I am for Theatre and Bluray :yahoo::yahoo:

So it seems, the makers are remastering the movie in its cropped anamorphic ratio (2.35:1), instead of the original aspect ratio of 1.37:1 on its 35mm negative
(Remember Sholay was shot on 35mm only, not on 70mm as speculated! 70mm was just its blow up version only.)

Sholay (1975) - Technical Specifications - IMDb

This ratio is same which was earlier released on DVD and also runs on ZeeCinemaHD channel now a days.
I would have loved to see Sholay in its original ratio, as one can clearly observe there is lesser of picture on top and bottom of this anamorphic version!!

Yes, But still there is possibility for the original ratio, May be this is just for promo :D Be positive yaar :D

I wish they release the directors cut in India (where Gabbar is killed). I have this on DVD.

May be they will keep the original end in the movie and add that alternate end as special features. They should do that with many other features like making of the movie or the songs, interviews etc etc. 2 blu-ray disc edition would be great :yahoo:

I doubt it. The original end (where Gabbar dies) was not passed by censors. I purchased my DVD in UAE.

Yes, that time this end was considered as too much violence and was promoting revenge.

But nowadays this level of violence is nothing, they may approach again to approve this end. Even this end was available on Sholay DVD released by Eros, not sure if Indian Eros version had alternate end too.
