Purchased Indian "2012" recently and found on cover that its Aspect Ratio is (1:78:1), but on Blu-Ray.com, it is
Aspect ratio: 2.40:1
Original aspect ratio: 2.39:1


FYI I have purchased same version but Indian (Same poster, region free) even the run time duration is almost same 158 min, mine is 157 min.

Is there anything wrong?

Got Claude Chabrol's Story Of women from amazon.in. Had hoped that since it would not have had a theatrical release, it would not be censored. Nothing like that. Going by the running time given on IMDB and other sites, this print has 8 min chopped!

All Matrix Trilogy discs (Sony DADC) back covers give aspect ratio as "16x9 2.4:1" . All are in original ratios.

I have the US version of 2012. I can check the aspect ratio but I believe that it is 2.40:1. Generally Indian BDs don't take the trouble to crop/chop and make the version with new aspect ratio. As far as the 157 vs 158 minutes, blu-ray.com could be wrong (entries are created by the community). In any case, 1 minute is hardly worth counting.

Ah! I had to go thru my stacks of BDs to hunt the devil. Found it. Cover says 2.40:1. Just playing it and aspect ratio is indeed 2.40:1.
