Why my threads posted in General Section first goes to the moderator for approval?

Hello,

I would like to ask, esp. to the moderators, that why any thread that I create in General Section, needs an approval from moderators before showing up? This is not the case in other sections like Phono/ Turntables, TVs, Home Projectors etc. where I have put up numerous threads without any queue for moderation?

Also, last time I wanted to start a thread on the general section & I posted it too, but it never showed up. Also, I have posted a new thread today, lets see if that shows up or not.

I would like to request the moderators to please let me know the reasons for the above.

Hello Mods,

First of all, I would like you to accept my appreciation for keeping HFV a great place. Thanks to all your efforts for the purpose.

Secondly, I would like to report this post for an issue that I have been facing since last few months, so that you an take note of my problem and work out a solution for it.

The thing is that whenever I try to create a new thread in the General Section, first it gives a message that it has been sent on the moderator's approval queue & will show up only when moderators approve. Later my thread never shows up.

While I do not have this issue when I post new threads in another sections like Phono/ turntables/ TVs/ Home theaters/ car audio, etc. Please note that I am not a newbie on the forum, so I am not able to understand why this particular section needs my thread to be approved. However, I can post replies in other's thread without any issue. Also please note that I have previously created threads in the General section. The problem looks new to me.

I tried creating 2 relevant threads in the general section recently which never showed up on the forum.

I will be grateful to you if you can provide a solution to this problem.

This is done to prevent irrelevant and/or inappropriate threads from being posted by spam robots.

We will be removing this restriction soon.

Thank you for the reply.

I respect the rules framed by you & the moderator.
Also, with all respect to you & all other moderators, I doubt that the threads I posted were irrelevant. However, it's nice to know that the restriction would be lifted soon.
