Hi,
I wanted to buy a wi-fi adapter for the 50v20d. I noticed that it has built in apps for youtube and skype. So is it necessary to buy panasonic brand wi-fi or any wi-fi adapter?

Also is it possible to to connect a bluetooth dongle in the usb slot so as to wirelessly move pictures from my camera phone (which has bluetooth) to the tv?

Last I checked with Pune Dealer, they did not have it in stock, i just use my Samsung BD Player, it has Wireless dongle, and use YouTube from there

Other way is to buy a WiFi router that has "repeater" feature. This would extend your existing WiFi network.

And then keep this router near the TV and connect TV's LAN port to any of the 4LAN ports in router.

Total cost would be around 1800 Rs.

I purchased asus n10 from nehru place for ~1300 and it works perfectly in the repeater mode. I am using it with my samsung c6500 tv. Firmware upgrade required (used firefox, IE8 didn't work).

Isn't it funny that downloading proprietary firmware is easier in an open source browser

I wasted lot of time trying to figure out what is wrong. I use firefox as my primary browser, but when it comes to such stuff, I use IE as normally business requirements are that code should work on IE. However, it just struck to me that I should try in a different browser!
Lot of developers use firefox as it is easy to debug JS/ ajax etc compared to IE.
