Although I haven't but I think it will support.Anyone who got tv have tried to play 4k video with Dolby atmos true hd downloaded on usb playing through usb 2.0 port of tv and pass through of atmos audio to avr? Is eARC 2.1 hdmi of this tv able to pass through dolby atmos true hd audio to avr?
I guess so. See the link below:Can we take extended warranty from Mi? The 1 year one? I got my tv 12-13 days back.
There is no fun in life without risk my friend. But without long warranty, I will be sweating all day long.FMs buying these TVs, you must buy the warranty for insurance. The only solid Chinese product is Covid, all else cant be counted upon esp electronics.long term mi reviews must be looked into for real life robustness
From the FAQ on mi extended warranty page:Can we take extended warranty from Mi? The 1 year one? I got my tv 12-13 days back.
This model is manufactured in Andhra by Dixon Technologies.FMs buying these TVs, you must buy the warranty for insurance. The only solid Chinese product is Covid, all else cant be counted upon esp electronics.long term mi reviews must be looked into for real life robustness
Just fyi. The tv doesn’t come with a wall mount. the Installation guys from FK (Jeeves) or mi will provide that. Also the tv is heavy. For those who wallmounted this tv, How is the quality of wall mount and the screws? Do they use anchor bolts and ,if so how deep do they go?
I am planning to get this mounted on a wall with stone wall cladding, which is atleast 1 inch thick. So any mounting bolts should go in atleast 3 inches deep to be safe, i think.
Should i buy a mount and bolts from outside, or will company mount be fine?
Yes, present in mine.To the owners: My TV's frame / stand has a slight voltage when touching it. Nothing too serious, but the plug is only 2 pin and hence the TV isn't grounded. Can someone confirm if they observe it too? If not, I will get it inspected after the Covid wave is over.
Yaa, didnt see the wall mount in unboxing videos. Just wondering about FK/Jeeves provided mount, and how safe they are for my case with 1 inch thick stone cladding on wall.Just fyi. Never take voltage leakage lightly. Use a multimeter to check actual voltage as these tvs are supposed to work at low voltages. If voltage is on the higher side - more than 24 volts , power supply will have to be checked. To the owners: My TV's frame / stand has a slight voltage when touching it. It's 12V as per multimeter.Never take voltage leakage lightly. Use a multimeter to check actual voltage as these tvs are supposed to work at low voltages. If voltage is on the higher side - more than 24 volts , power supply will have to be checked.
Also inform the supplier immediately.
I too have a new tv with a 2 pin connection . I previously thought of getting my earthing checked but since the plug from the tv itself is a 2 pin , no point in checking earthing.
It's present in mine, I think it's also due to static electricity. It's 12V as per multimeter.
Given that one more member has reported this issue, does it need inspection? Anyway I'm not getting inspected until covid wave is over.
I don't think it's static electricity. If it was static electricity one would feel a rather strong shock only once on touching any grounded conductor object and not each time one touches only tv.It's present in mine, I think it's also due to static electricity.
Yes 2 pin. I guess we should connect a extension cord which has 3 pin and attach tv to it. Can it work?I don't think it's static electricity. If it was static electricity one would feel a rather strong shock only once on touching any grounded conductor object and not each time one touches only tv.
It looks like current leakage issue. As many/all of the owners are reporting it, may be it's a tv engineering problem. Someone mentioned that the tv has two pin power cable - means no earthing.
Has your order shipped? How long do they take to ship? Mine is not yet shipped.I am able to place the order on flipkart, took the extended warranty just to be safe. It is still in stock on flipkart.
