hello frens neeed help deciding which to buy
i know entry level ht packages but its ok for my bedroom 12X12
more into movies and gaming
please frens need your expert opinion and advice which to buy in terms
1 sound quality
2 overall maintenance
3 value for money

Ultimately it all boils on which system pleases your connectivity and performance requirements...also largely influenced on the budget u r willing to spend.

Since you are based in Mumbai, visit Vijay Sales, Croma, Reliance Digital etc...even some dealers to get a fair idea...then decide

If budget is low, look @ For Sale by owner section or hifiads.com. Some good stuff on sale

Out of these two, the Yamaha would be my pick. The 299 has active subwoofer compared to the 3800 which has a passive one. Yamaha will sound better for music and also its more reliable comparatively.
