NOTE: i have called xtreamer.in site bangalore shop, but are quoting 10K for xtreamer without wifi dongle.

Give a try on ebay. I got it @8000 using ebay coupon with wifi and was lucky to get an HDMI cable as a consolation from ebay seller due to delayed shipping.

When I bought, it was 8490 and with discount coupon, I got 500 off. Yeah you are right its not 8k its less then it

Anyone having troubles with OVERheated Sidewinders? Whenever I watch a movie, my Xtreamer sidewinder becomes REALLY hot. It doesnt affect functionality, but the temperature scares me.

I had registered new account in Ebay and received the discount coupon. It works for the deals of the week items. When I received it had the firmware 2.3.1S. Within 2 days I upgraded it to 2.4.1. Yet to install the latest release

Its the same for me too. If I use the wireless network option to play video files it gets overheated, and at times I need to wait for it to cool down to resume the movie. but when I use pen drive to play the same file It played fine and was not that overheated (but there is significant heat generated). Well scares me too.

Guys, need help on this. I am planning to buy Xtreamer Pro.

1. How much discount should I expect from what has been quoted in its estore price of 14.5K (with wifi antenna)? Better place to buy that their estore?

2. Is sidewinder a real necessity?

3. Can I play the media wireless on the plasma supporting DLNA? I intend to keep the plasma and Xtreamer in separate rooms. Do I need anything other than a router?

yes, as per specification its plays DTS HD and Dolby HD. It has HDMI 1.4, so its 3D ready. In Bangalore it around 25K. If you want you can purchase from onkyo Coimbatore for 23K. Few members in this forum have purchased from them.
