32" Flat Panel TV for Bedroom, Budget <30k

I'm planning to go for a 32incher for my parrents' bedroom. My budget is less than 30k. What would you suggest?

Hi are you fine with buying from grey market? The price of Sony models in grey market - bx320 lcd - 23k, cx520 lcd - 27k, ex420 led - 31k, ex520 - 37k and if its with bill then check Sonys bx320 - its arnd 30k. Hope this helps. Tc.

i mst say, you are a SONY loyalist! I too trust the brands, but find them just li'l more expensive than the lesser known ones. and to top it all, the shoorooms / dealers just tend to rely on the brand name and seem reluctent to budge when it comes to bargaining - and equally important - sharing knowledge @ the products.

how about Toshiba? they sound a good deal and the brand too is quite reliable.

any opinions?

Haha ya i am a big Sony fan and it all started with a Sony tv so thats why i love Sony tvs more than any Sony product but to be frank other brands are equally good like Panasonic n all. I dont know why i always end up buying a Sony product because when i wanted to buy a laptop there was a discount going on in USA on Sony laptops so i got a very good deal and honestly i was very keen on buying a dell or asus but i end up buying a Sony Vaio. Then before going to USA i wanted a camera and i bought a Sony camera for 7k which for the price i thought was a very good deal. Then i wanted to buy the cheapest mp3 player with good sound quality in USA and i bought the Sony Walkman 8gb for only 5k and i know its not the cheapest but it was much cheaper than the ipod and i was short on cash. Then i bought the PS3 and PSP which i always wanted to buy because i didnt have a PS1 and PS2 like all my friends and brothers. So when i came back from USA i had to buy a new tv and home theatre so my 1st choice was Sony and i bought Ex400 for 28k and DVD home theatre for 15k. I love all my Sony products and i dont regret buying any be it the cool looking VAIO or the awesome sounding WALKMAN or the trusty CYBERSHOT or do it all PS3 or my video/game player PSP or my home theatre BRAVIA or as usual the perfect picture BRAVIA tv. They all hold a special place in my heart because i bought them from my earned money and they have never let me down. Sorry for the long post but i just wanted to share my SONY story i dont know why hehe. I am in no way trying to promote Sony or trying to show that its the best brand so please dont take it in a wrong way. Anyways coming back to the topic toshiba is a good brand but can you tell me the model and the price you getting and do you live in delhi. Thank you. Tc.

i'll be hooking it up with AirTelHD thru HDMI and to my Sony DZ120 through component....

ya ya..... I too am a sony enthusiast..... or we can say used to be till i planned to go for a flat panel tv a year and a half before. [was using the good old Trinitron 21incher before and was very very very very happy.... its still in the working condition and there is no deterioration in the PQ] i had almost decided upon 32" Full HD Sony [do not quite remember the model no]. but the dealer was not at all ready to bargain at Sony World. he also did not look much interested in the sell! so, i decided upon Panny 42"

Hi its a good tv but if you add 3k more you can get Sony BX320 which adds 2 hdmi, usb movie playback and fm radio which i think is worth paying 3k more. If you live in delhi i can get you a good discount from Sony World because the guy knows me very well and i can get you a genuine piece from grey market also. Hope this helps. Tc.

Go for Toshiba 700E Regza which has 3 HDMI inputs and a monitor input and USB. Price will be within 25K

few days back i visited lg showroom in bangalore. i was offered 35k with free tatasky hd for lg5300. its hd ready only but trust me for 32" tv full hd is an overkill. its the cheap and best tv i can recommend u.
