Suggest Near Field Passive Speaker approx 30K ₹

I am not sure about it. There can be sound signature differences. Let others comment here.
Along with Amazon basics speaker wire, I also have 1.5, 2.5 and 4 sqmm copper cables of havells brand lying around. I think I'll try electrical cables (as discussed in few threads) and Amazon basics wires, and see if they perform different, as I already have these.

2nd query - do I need to burn in speakers?
If yes, then for how many hours approx?

If you have a budget, then go with branded cables, but it will cost a little more. If you want high-quality handmade cables, then contact Murthy Sir; he will make your speaker cables as you want. I am using Murthy's interconnect; they are excellent cables. If you like, I can share his contact number.

Yes, speakers and cables need to be burnt in. It's according to the brand, mostly 100 hours of listening, but some take more than 150 hours too.

happy listening
cheers

Thanks for input. Please suggest a few branded cables with model no. Will contact you once i get a hang of how the speakers perform, and If I decide to go for Mr Murthy's cable.
Regards.

I am using Mogami 3104. But it's not very cheap. 3103 is also a good cable. But I am not very familiar with other branded cables. If you are handy, you can buy cables per metre and try the DIY route.

I have forgotten the Canare cables; they are very nice, especially the 4S11. But I'm not sure if it's available in India.

yes, you can try. I was using polycab 2.5 sqmm cables before switching to belden and there was a noticeable change in sound. The mids became little more sweet.

Most speakers has burn in period of 100 hours. you can just play them slightly more than the normal listening volume and play the music or noise through it.

Received Mission QX2 MK II from Hifimart yesterday evening. Packaging was good, received safely. Have played music on it for approx 10 hrs till now. Its been a bitter sweet experience regarding its sound reproduction. Will create a new thread for suggestion and guidance regarding improving sound with speaker stands, cables, etc from esteemed members.

Regards.

1 - Where are these placed? Are they being used for near field?
2 - What is your amplification?
3 - Do you use a sub?

Thanks!

1 - Placed on two 27" height hardwood stool type tables. 6feet apart, 1 feet from wall, tried feet from wall too. Near field and listening Spot at 10 Feet also.
2 - Aiyima A07. Chain - Windows 10 PC (foobar + Flacs and Wav) == USB == Ifi Zen Air Dac ==Amazon Basics RCA cables == Aiyima A07 === Amazon Basics 14awg Cable (new cable).
3 - No sub. QX2 MK II already has too much low bass, it overshadows all other frequeincies except male and female vocals.

Sound Signature impressions after 10hrs burn in - Loads of Bass, Forward vocals, Laid Back and very Warm sound - Low frequencies overshadow all other frequencies except for vocal [Frequency below 77hz most prominent at all listening levels i.e. whispering sound level to high decibel]. Mid Bass is present and but not thumping. Highs are there but not simmering, somewhat restricted and sub-dued. Had to raise 7kz, 10khz, 14khz, 20khz frequencies in foobarr equalizer to get some feel of Twitter.
Overall - too warm, low frequency prominent, mid bass reproduced but not thumping, highs present but miniscule. Vocals are forward - a bit too forward.

Queries : -
1. Should i get professional made speaker stands of get one made locally ? I have to get proper speaker stands, can get them made from solid wood/ ply wood/ Metal, for approx 5-6k INR, as i already have raw material and have easy access to carpenter and metal workers nearby.

2. Mid bass is present but overshadowed by low frequency. Will RCA and Speaker cable change tame low freq, and accentuate mid thump and high frequencies ? If so, please suggest which cables to buy, preferably not too costly.

3. Please suggest other steps i can take to improve sound signature.
Regards.

Can you post the picture of the Amazon Basics RCA cable. How long is it? is it longer than 1m? IF the cables have high capacitance it will tame the high frequencies. Most likely it is the source material being used for playback. Can you put one music file on google drive that you have a problem with? If you install audacity and load the music file you can see the frequency spectrum and see if the frequency range is throughout the audio range.

BTW Human whispers typically fall within a frequency range of approximately 200 Hz to 4,000 Hz, with the most important energy concentrated between 2,000 and 5,000 Hz for intelligibility.

You can also use spek instead of audacity to analyze the audio. Download it from https://www.spek.cc/p/download

YOu should see a spectrum like this

Have attached flac file speck spectrum and amazon basics cable photos.
Both left and right speaker cables are of equal length - 9 feet 10 inches/ 118 inches/ 2.99 meter .Looks like copper, connected bare wires at both amp and speaker terminals.

Have played 100s of songs in 12 hrs play time, and few songs on youtube too. I solely listen hindi songs, and almost of all collection is ripped in flac and wav form. Most riles are of mediocre quality but some are good quality recordings and rips. Sound signature remains same throughout.

I asked the photo of the RCA cable, not the speaker cable.

The spectrum shows you have very low volume for anything above 6 kHz. Let me check my sample of Choti Si Asha

Let us ask other members to download spek and post the spectrogram of Choti Si Asha. Most likely my copy is bad too.
Try to obtain a good hi-res download of some Music and play it.

This is how a very good recording looks like. This is "A Night in Tunisia" by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers. The red colour is visible throughout the frequency spectrum.

This cable is fine. I too have this cable and have measured it's capacitance using a LCR meter.

Here is my spectrogram. This is for the Tamil version which I ripped it from a CD of Roja purchased in Chennai from a roadside CD shop. I think it is similar to yours.

Thanks for teaching me to how to read spek graphs, always saw this but never knew how to decipher it.
Will to find and wonload hi resolution file, any pointers as to where i can find one.
What else can i do to tame/prevent lower frequencies overshadowing other frequencies ?
Also, regarding placement of speakers - Which material is preferred for speaker stands i.e metal/solid wood/ plywood? Do i have to buy professionally made one or i can DIY with the help of carpenter/ metal worker? Or can use Sofline Pro stands on my 72x32 inch deep desktop table without any degradation of SQ?

Regards.
