3D TV Recommendation.

Nice to see a lot of back and forth over 3D TV choices ! My own humble two cents are invested with passive 3D TVs for two reasons - one, 3D watching is smoother and comfortable, and two, the passive 3D glasses are cheaper to buy and replace - and maintenance free!

I agree that good decisions are not always made based on passion for PQ!

How did you watch Life of Pi 3D on your TV ? AFAIK the 3D bluray will come out only next year.

I watched the HD Rip of the movie.

Tahiti has one good scene with computer graphics. The computer animated scene shows the sun and the planets revolving around it. It's a good scene to showcase the 3D capabilities of a TV. But 90% of the documentary doesn't have any computer graphics. It's about surfing in the rough waves of Tahiti. Visually awesome and good immersive 3D!
