You spend more than me for a TV. Finally I can find myself in a club where I ha a huge company.
Anyone else spending this much money for a TV?

" Indian11 - Since you have already got a LG 3D TV, would you mind telling me whether it is able to play all the file formats - directly from USB stick when plugged into the TV?

So Indian11, how is your LM8600 holding up - you enjoying it much? We are all waiting with baited breaths for a comprehensive post for LM8600 review. Is it coming anytime soon?

Hi all,
Believe it or not, whether it is 2D or 3D, low end plasma is always better than high end LEDs. I have Samsung PS51-D550 3D Plasma TV of 2011. The image quality is very very superb, smooth motion, beautiful colours, better contrast, etc. and can be added ..... further. My friends (owners of non 3D LED TV) feel that they have made a big mistake of not buying a Plasma TV with 3D. Because the 40" non 3D LED TV's price equals to 51" 3D Plasma TV. And the picture quality of the Plasma doubles the LED TV. Why should there be any hesitation. Go for Samsung 51" PS51-E550 of 2012 which is a mid-end 3D plasma available at a very affordable price around Rs.65,000/-.

Hi,
Yes, The TV is able to play all formats either it be .avi files, which are generally DivX and XviD, and MKV files.

If you look for quality, then Sony HX series is the way to go. You 'll not regret for the extra money.

Do you think there will be a difference in 3D performance dependent on the screen size, even for the same brand? For example, a 47 inch LG 3D TV will give a better 3D performance than a 32 inch model.

@das.anirban

LG plasmas are inferior in PQ compared to Panasonic/Samsung. So I won't suggest LG plasma.

@prateekagarwal576

Yes, bigger the screen better the 3D effect.

parofecotu........for me even a 65 inch tv is small for 3d....3d is something to enjoy it a large screen is needed...

yes for plasma sammy and pana is better

I haven't seen all the possible formats in existence work on TV's. But the most generic ones like .avi , h.264 .mkv, .mp4, .mpeg (1 or 2) work seamlessly through USB on Samsung Smart TV's and LG 3D TV's.

Go for Panasonic 42 LED 3D tv. It has good Black Level and Pic quality is very Good. LG and Samsung are taking Niche Pricing for the same product.

Yup....The bigger the screen size is, the better picture quality you get so the screen definitely leaves a lot of affect on the overall picture quality of TV.
