Presented my self a Christmas gift - a near mint condition Lenco L75 from Germany. Got it thru bay and paid 5000/- customs thru post.

Completely cleaned and lubed everything including the motor. It's in perfect working condition. Discarded the original tonearm and mounted a highly regarded Ortofon AS-212 tonearm. Put the table on Santhosh's borrowed plinth. Haven't heard the player yet. Work in progress.

Cheers.

Congrats Anilva, 5k for customs seems a bit steep. I have a quick question related to the Motor mount screws (Red ones). Should they be tightened hard of left with play?

Should be loosened completely or removed preferably.

Customs used 200 euro including shipment a the basis for calculating duty.

Anilva,

That should be a Perfect X-mas Gift. I know the amount you paid for Customs is steep ,But Dreams are really worth any Dollars\Pounds.

AwiaTing for the list Look and experience on the TT.

This TT is meant to be used as a source of spares including Platter (for double platter experiment), motor and the top plate for various things that I want to try. If one were to buy different things individually, the sum of the parts is way more expensive than a full TT. I am sure this will not be doing any active duty in the near term.

Cheers.
