5.1 surround connection from Samsung Blu-Ray BD-E5500

Does anyone know how I can get an output from my Samsung Blu-Ray BD-E5500 to my JVC RX-8012R?

I have a Samsung UA40es6800, which does not support surround sound...

Grateful for any tips...

Connect the BDP with JVC AVR by either a coaxial digital or optical digital cable. You will have to configure the input sound preference in AVR. But this will only output the BDP sound to AVR.

You can connect Digital Audio Out (Optical) from Samsung 40ES6800 to AVR using optical cable.

Thanks for the advice. I've connected via coaxial digital, but it only gives two channels! Same for optical from the TV. I cannot seem to get 5.1 surround sound! Any ideas?

have u config ur input sound preference as coaxial out in AVR.......
