when i started my HDTV Search i did not know anything. Then gained good knowledge on Plasma(Targeted ST60) Missed that.
Then searched for LED/LCD...and Finally Landed with 55WT50D.


Bough 55WT50D from BrandShop Panasonic over this weekend.

Awesome HD Picture Quality Excellent, Excellent 3D.
and have to specially mention about the SCREEN BLACK even when all the Hall lights are ON...Superb.

will upload picture later this week.

waiting for my STB selection...Once i play from HD STB will update my comments..

Also, pls suggest
TataSky or Videocon DTH??


Tamil regional pack + HD Movies is my preference..

Congratulations and enjoy your purchase. I sent you the VPN details and sam's post through message. Check that out and set up your trial account for one week. Waiting for few pictures and a review once you have it set up with HD DTH.

Also whether to go for TS or Videocon DTH. I have been using TS and very happy with the same. Did not venture into videocon DTH so would not be able to provide feedback on the same.

Also as i said, TS HD DTH is also costing 2k for limited offer.

Buy it while it lasts, i just called the local Panasonic Brand shop in Bangalore and he said, ST series ain't coming also said that Panasonic will not sell plasma in India anymore.

Only stock of 50S60 was there, all other models are sold out.

So guess its the end for Panasonic Plasmas in India.

Very much true.

Visited Panasonic Brandshop last week, they only had 50S60 on sale.. Even almost none of the 42inch LED was not on display.

I was researching for Plasma TV and understand following- Need suggestions, confirmations and help:
1. for best quality picture, 2500 Hz FFD technology is preferred over SFD, is that correct?
4. i went to panasonic's website and found only 1 TV model to 2500 Hz FFD technology and ie., Plasma TV VIERA TH-P50ST60D

It's now quite impossible to get your hands on ST60 in India in 50" or 65". If you want something similar to ST60, get the Samsung 64F8500 which is a very good 3D plasma smartTV.

Try your level best to match this deal

Even I waited for 50ST60d 6minths, then went with Pana WT series LED
