The screws in your picture look to be all either wood or sheet metal screws. M3, means a machine screw, 3mm diameter. Most screws in US are 1 per thread count, so in this case, the screw is 3mm dia x 1 mm distance between threads x 20 mm long threads.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the explanation. Yes those were wood and sheet metal screws.

Now I know what to hunt for...

Went out checked 10-15 shops spent cpl of hours. Finally one shop har machine screws but he had no idea of those being 3 mm. I was unsure about them and as expected these too dont fit..

Fellow fm's would request you who have ceiling mounted the pj please if you have any spare left. Please post a pic..

Try some screws from Auto Part shop, last time I needed one for surround,I did not get in Hardware shop, but Auto shop.

So finally it was already few days and I cudnt find the screws after spending hours and fuel. However as you suggested auto part shop came to rescue. ..

You literally saved my ass. Thanks a ton..

If any of the member owning H5370BD has makeshift arrangement, could you please help me know as what would be the image size diagonally (with full zoom and without zoom) when the distance between the lens to the screen is 8 Feet.

I did checked the projector central for the image size calculation, but I wish to know real experience from the members here in terms of image size (with full zoom and without zoom) @ distance of 8feet.

Ironhorse has it and is 8ft and I think image at full zoom is close to 75? Can you confirm?

My ceiling mount is done today. At 9.2 feet from lens to wall the image size is 83 inches at full zoom.

40 inch height and 72 width

At 8 it will be close to 75 odd.

Thats right prem,The screen costs me less than 500 Rs(Self painted on holiday:ohyeah:)I have used dulux emulsion which i bought some months back over the acrylic wall putty,The black border do a great job,But the screen is still reflective.I will go for a better screen after a couple of months.
