Actually i am travelling from Peru to Washington D.C and my main baggage limit is 23kg

The dimensions may be problem to your baggage.

I agree. Before you leave contact the airlines and see if you can bring the PJ screen(get the measurements from the buyer). If they charge you at the airline It might be cheaper for you to bring it with you. I still say get the ebay Electric Screen it works very well for the price. You can order them before you go to Washington and have it waiting for you at the House/Apt/hotel, so you will have time to test them out.

Sorry for the general question, is it good to use Power Converter Voltage 220V to 110V in india ?,

If the equipment is 110-230v compatible, then there is no problem in directly plug it to electric socket.
If it is 110v, then using a good step down transformer (converter) is a must. Hope it clarifies.

Hola Kumar! You can check all those gcr mentioned. I got lucky I got mine on ebay Acer Refurb and it looked new with zero hours of use.
I got my Motorized screen on ebay as well. I would not spend more than $80 US on a screen unless you got lots of monies (I bid on mine and got it for a little less than $70): New 100" 16 9 HD Foldable Electric Motorized Projector Screen Remote | eBay

Can you post pictures of your screen ( without projecting).

Can it be connected to our projector so that when switching on the projector , the screen automatically pulls down and goes up on switching off ?

Yes gcr I can can take pics this weekend. No the screen does not come down when I put on my PJ. I use the remote. I may get a fixed frame later on, but for now I'm happy with it.:yahoo::clapping:

Yep spirovious but it's like brand new with no hours on the actual bulb. I contacted the seller and he promptly answered all my questions. If I can help someone save money it's worth it.

Great choice. Keep looking at the prices as it fluctuates.
Do check whether sales tax is applicable or not at your place.

The converter is a travel adapter which will not be sufficient for onkyo.
Its already mentioned in the usage advise of the above adapter. You can buy good converters from here itself so that you can avoid the baggage weight. Look for reputed brands like maxine... .

Normally a manufactured refurbished means that the item was repaired/serviced by the manufacturer for any minor flaws and should mostly carry the full warranty as applicable to a new item. I have brought many different kinds of items from US in manufactured refurbished and so far I didn't find any issue with them. So its better that your friend uses it in US and can return back if found some issue rather than finding the issues in India as the return shipping is hassle and best avoided.

manniraj is correct + it's basically from Acer. You can message the seller. He was very good with a fast response to any questions. That's why I told Kumar and members here about it. You could play with it in the US and if there are problems they could always return and highly doubt you will.

I bought this ( similar to first link, second is not opening). 2 Feet Stellar Universal Projector Ceiling Mount KIT With Screw | eBay white one. Finishing is not that good. It was a ceiling mount. put extra holes to make it wall mount.




Hope your requirement is ceiling mount, so no modifications is required.
