^^ XBMC for Android is there, yes you can add XBMC to the stck, but performance is something to be desired as compared to RaspBMC, a stand alone XBMC client for Dev Boards, which runs much better than XBMC loaded on Android.
Can i access the hard disk connected to my wifi router via this TV stick?
Basically i was thinking of connecting it to my projector which would be ceiling mounted. This way i won't need to connect an HDMI cable which won't look good.
I'll get a false ceiling probably next year.till then. What would be the best way to access a network drive and stream movies to projector?
Go for the mk808. Its a tried and tested stick with max dev support. Yes using esfile explorer with mx player you can play media off a network drive. Wifi is not the best on these sticks so you may wanna run a lan cable and attach a external usb to ethernet adapter for best results.
Be prepared for the limitation that these sticks presently only do a 2 channel output. No 5.1 support in the kernel yet. So if u looking for a home theatre experience then look elsewhere
