Audio hiFi Accesories

Hi george

You can look at the Alpha series racks MK1 or MK2 or the Theta signature series if you wish

the delta rack is ready
Im quite proud of it actualy
A decent Audiophile rack built to a budget

however they are available only at 36 inch heights
Yes i can do a 24 incher- but a 3 shelf 24 incher will cost you alomost the same as a 4 shelf 36incher

planks?
they arent planks
they are Bases for electronics
3 inches thick
Composites of wood silicon MDF and thermocol
Really really heavy and inert- prform superbly - they wont cost less than 3.5-4k per pc

Magma, could you post pics of the Delta Rack when you are able to? I would love to see how it has turned out.

Apologize for the term. Could you post a few pics of the delta rack. Couldn't find it on your website.

Reason for my enquiry limited to a 24" was my bookshelves would be standing 2.5' on either sides of the rack and I didn't want the rack to be more then the height of the speaker stands coz of the apparent soundstage that I would have to compromise. (As per audiophile findings.:D) But at 36" maybe I could push the rack behind the line of speakers.
Thanks

the rack will be unvieled on sunday at the mumbai meet
will post pics later
for now just lets say its a close copy of the USHER rack

Magma, the Raksang design looks really awesome :clapping:

Is the feat repeatable?

thank sfor teh encouragement.its always appreciated
yes the rack was first designed and built for a crazy audiophile who is really finicky and particular about his stuff
Some on the forum know him too

the rack has been rebuilt for another customer too and will most probably be built for an audio retailer in Banglore too ( i wont say who though... so dont ask )

I do see your point on having a 24-26 inch rack
As i said the delta can be done in that size too
Its just, less cost efficient - if youre fine with that , then thats dandy

pics will be posted later
i havent clicked any yet

i have been on a break for Moharram (10 days) and have just got back to work

Any details on this rack would be great. If I like I can arrange to pick it up from Mumbai as I stay in Pune.

Who is that lucky guy to own a CD rack 30 years back? He must be one of the first one to have a CDP in India:D

He is 65 years old
Hes been litening to music since hes 20

hes got the best Jazz collections i have seen yet
currently uses cadence cansya monoblocks, a Q sonic frontend ( which is the reason hes now getting rid of all his Cds and rack ) and owns 3 pairs of maggies

he was the first gentleman in India ( i think ) to own a maggie
He bought it from the maggie founder himself and i think knows him personally

some premium accessories done for export orders

both the spikes and equipment feet will probably be OEM to a very well known manufacturer ( who doesnt have the volumes to go to china but makes small qtys of niche high end audio gear)

spikes a 2 inch diameter weighing almost 1 KG each
the feet are prototypes - they are to evolve with ball contact inards
