Spent some more time thinking about the meet, discussed with George and have made some updates:
Draft agenda for the day is as below:
09.45 to 10:00 hrs - Introductions, Socialising, Networking etc
10:00 to 10:20 hrs - Presentation on DIY by George
10:20 to 10:40 hrs - Presentation on Room Acoustics by Santhosh*
10:40 to 11:00 hrs - Short Break/Setting up of components
11:00 to 13:00 - Audition/A-B Testing of Member's AV components**
13:00 to 14:00 - Lunch (Veg Lunch - Courtesy Anutone)
14:00 to 16:00 - Audition of AV equipment Courtesy Abhishek & other Commercial Members***
It would be great if more members volunteer to get some of their AV components as well for us to audition. So far, we have the following equipment from members:
George - Squeezebox Touch, Squeezebox Duet, Netgear Ready NAS
Stevieboy - Lyrita Tube-Phonostage, Lyrita Headphone Amp (To be confirmed)
Santhosh(myself) - Lehmann Audio Black Cube Phonostage, NuForce UDAC, Audioquest Indigo Plus Speaker Cables (2 pairs), Chord Silver Screen speaker cables, Van Den Hul D102 MKIII Interconnects, Finesse Pure Silver Interconnects (DIY by Mr.Murthy of Tools n Trade)

1) A/B Test of Tube v/s Solid State - Lyrita Phono v/s Lehmann Audio Black Cube
2) A/B Test to hear differences between Bi-wiring and single wiring using two identical pairs of Audioquest Indigo Plus cables
3) A/B Test to hear differences between Chord Silver Screen and Audioquest Indigo Plus speaker cables
4) A/B Testing to hear differences between two opposite sounding cables(to my ears - most noticeably the highs) - Van Den Hul D102 MKIII Interconnects, Finesse Pure Silver Interconnects
5) Lyrita Headphone Amp v/s similarly priced Headphone Amp
6) A/B/C Comparison of same track between Vinyl/CD/FLAC (volunteers needed)
*** Abhishek to confirm on this thread equipment with model numbers he will be getting to the meet. Over the phone he mentioned Thorens Turntable, Exposure CDP and Amp. Will also update after my discussions with other commercial members.
