All components are available with www.digikey.in You can buy some parts locally,like toggle switch,op amp socket,9v battery connectors,Led,etc.Op amps,some capacitors and resisters are available with www.element14.in.I have included digikey part no in BOM for easy searching.Digikey shipping charges are vary much on higher side $40.I suggest you to opt shop n ship service for digikey.Please mail me if you have any problem regarding parts.

Sure! Why not? Its perfectly okay. During my testing I tried these with my TCC-754 (as non preamp input)as well as Tandberg TCA-3002 also. It worked perfectly.

There are some components available at element14,so custom duty can be avoided.Toggle switch,LED,battery connectors,Op amp socket,RCA plug,can be bought locally.Rest of the parts can be ordered from Digikey.It will save some custom duty.Please find below link for reference :

It seems some of the parts in digikey and elements14 are out of stock. DigiKey seems to be expensive as the available parts costs only 8$ and the shipping comes to 40$ flat. Is it recommended to buy the parts locally from SP road, are they of the same quality? I need to build one asap as my TT is idle for long time.

I have not started on the project yet, very busy with some official work and official travel. My guess is that we may be able to get away with reasonable quality on the resistors and caps. However, the quality of the OP Amp may vary. The international ones are better.

I built this kit using the parts put together by omishra and sachin. I believe they sourced from both overseas and locally. My suggestion is to scourge SP Rd , if you are in Bangalore. You may get some of the better ones in Amar. However, putting on my DIY hat, I would say get the best you can from SP Rd and build your phonostage. You would be pleasantly surprised. The price differential may be worth it

Reminds me of my younger days and not to forget the disgust on the store attender's face when I used to show up with a long list of resistors and capacitors. 1/4 watt resistors each used to cost 10 or 15 paise in those days. The store guys were more interested in customers who queued up to purchase assembled PCBs, etc.
- Loading switch must be of good quality with gold plated contacts as it comes in path of very very low signal from cartridge.
- OPAMP must be same (manufacturer/part no. wise) wherever you get.
- Caps from Panasonic (or WIMA or better) are must because different caps with same values sound different.
- Those two resistances are very uncommon values which I could not get here in 1% MFR (metal film) type. [3.83K is must be accurate for frequency curve. 3.32K will change gain of OPAMP.]
