Best 5.1 speakers within Rs.60000

Hi,
I live in kolkata.I have LG 32LM6200 3D TV.I want to buy compatible 5.1 a HTS within 60000/-.Please recommend me the best possible option within this budget. I have listened LG HX906TX 9.1 3D surround speakers which is a good one and also supports all common formats & decode DTS-HD/Dolby True HD. I know there are lots of brands like Harmon Kardon ,Pioneer,Yamaha,CambridgeAudio,Wharf etc. in the market which are very good.

Please recommend me the best option that supports all common formats & decode DTS-HD/Dolby True HD.

I think what you meant is AVR + Speakers.

Because usually the AVR is the one that does the decoding of various audio formats.

Get a denon 16xx series with cambridge audio sirocco 5.1 set. should be within65k easy.

Stay away from electronic brands like sony, lg, samsung, etc............and enter the world of hifi. You need a good AVR + 5.1 speaker system.

Speakers : wharfedale, polk audio, mordaunt short, Jamo, Paradigm, Boston Acoustics, etc.........

Please spend some time and listen to as many systems as you can. Also remember every speaker will sound different with each AVR, some speakers go well with some AVRs.

go for denon 1513- 25000/- with discount and for speaker choose 4 polk audio tsi 100 for front & surround (24000) and CS 10 for center(10000) + psw 110 sub (15000), with in 70k you will get decent sounding system for both home theater and stereo purpose.

Pls give the feedback of Denon AVR 1713 & Boston Acoustics Soundware XS 5.1 individually.I will watch Full HD/HD movies on my 3D TV,so tell me whether they are compatible with my TV.Pls tell me whether Denon AVR 1713 & 1613 will have any difference? I have read that AVR 1613/1713 has no ability to convert analog video inputs to HDMI output....what does that mean?

which one will be better, Boston Acoustics Soundware XS 5.1 or cambridge audio sirocco 5.1 with Denon AVR 1613/1713?

I havnt heard the bostons but the cambridge sirocco i know got 5/5 stars in what hifi and I've heard them. They're quite decent sounding (and looking). Worth the money for budget 5.1 as "new" equipment. In the used market i would look for much higher quality items but they're hard to find.

energy take classic + yamaha 473 or denon 1713. 60k.

These r proper mumbai showroom prices and not online pricing which imho is way way expensive.

why dont try sonodyne at south city mall....u will get good speakers at your range.
sonus bookshelfs,roar sub and r ear surrounds....all within 35k and a denon 1612....
audition the sonodyne..they are also in mani square i think...
by the way I will be in kolkata and will be avilable in saturday full evening ..it will be my plesure if I can accompany you...for demo
or it will be a little costlier go for polk tsi amd denon 1612 from profx.......
also try promises at thetaer roas..they are also a very trusted name in kolkata hi fi customers.

edit-you will get a very good system if be a little patient.then buy a avr and 2 fronts within 60k....and buy a sub,surrounds,centre later when budget permits..in this way you will get a killer system....
if only for movie the also can buy a avr and a centre and a sub..........buy rear and fronts later..........

My take is Denon 1713 will go well with both Polk TL 1600 or BA SoundwareXS seen excellent reviews for both 5.1 speaker setups... Price wise BA XS seems to be a good deal btw 23-25k, how much is one getting Denon 1713 for?

getting Denon 1713 for 33200/- after discount. will there be any difference with 1612 sound quality wise?read in the specification sheet that 1713 is having Multibase EQ XT

That looks to be a good deal for Denon 1713, I have not experienced the difference, so not apt on my part to through any comment... So which 5.1 are you planning to add to your 1713?

BA XS 5.1 should be good pick along with 1713 under 60k.

I have seen some excellent reviews for BA XS, however also best ones in similar range are Energy Take classic & pioneer SP-PK21BS ... But not sure of availability in India.


Hope some one can share where can one buy Energy Take classic & pioneer SP-PK21BS?
