Mate, DevH has bouth the 50VT20 for 75K in bangalore... IMHO other cities will differ by +/- 10% if they are carrying stocks so logically similar pricing should be available in Hyd as well but then who works on logic these days.

I have been on this forum for quite some time now and have been researching for TV till no end. When i heard about this deal for 50VT20 i searched every known dealer in mumbai to get my hands on a piece as it would be utterly stupid of me to miss this historic opportunity. However i have not yet been lucky and dont think the guys here are goign to replenish the stock. Hence if you have an opportunity to buy tis TV do go ahead as you will not get such a deal for some time...

Actually i got it in mangalore. I had initially got a quote of 90k in mangalore with 1 3d glass but through good friends in this forum, i managed to get a good quote of 78k from bangalore:licklips:. I called up my mang dealer and told him i am about to purchase vt20 in banglore right now for 75k with 2 3d glass;). at this time mang dealer told me to purchase in bang itself. I told ok. after 5 min the mang dealer phoned me back and told me he ll price match it:ohyeah:.
when i came back to mang, dealer told me he ll arrange st30 for 90k. i told him i am only interested in vt20 with bd110, and nothing else. if he cant give me vt20, i wont take st30. then he told me now all vt20 stock is finished in banglore( told story that some big dealer lifted all the stocks in bangalore to sell at higher prices all over india). wow:p but i told him i ll manage to get vt20 for 75k and show him the piece in 2 days. and if i cant get it, i ll buy st30 elsewhere but i wont get anything from him.. Then after all this hue and cry managed to get vt20 at my place in mangalore itself:clapping:

He seems unethical.. I wouldn't deal with him if I were you.

BTW, What the hell is the price panasonic is quoting to the dealers?? They just go down to any value based on negotiation..

I was told by a bangalore dealer that many stocks of VT20 have been given to Chroma mumbai. I am not sure though. May be in couple of days you can get them.

what i think is the company wants to clear all stocks and is selling of at whatever price they can above a fixed minimum price, which may not have yet been reached. may be 50K?

I am interested too if it is for 80K. However would like to know if there is any time frame that was provided for this offer, or would it still be available for say a month after diwali.

There seems to be difficulty in getting the required count for the buy :ohyeah: thought ppl would lap it up:licklips:
