blu ray player with region free...

did not get the answer for my question? is the dune bd prime 3.0 and dune hd max players region free in US?

As far as I am aware, there is only one version of Dune. Please look up http://dune-hd.com/fullhd_players/72-dune-bd-prime.html for details.

You can also look at Popcorn Hour C-200 that now has a Blu-Ray player attachment. This might come well under 20K, and Popcorn is an excellent brand for media player. Please look up http://www.popcornhour.com/onlinestore/index.php?pluginoption=productinfo&item_id=12 for details.

venkat......when i met you couple of days back, on a discussion, you mentioned that decibel audio Chennai was importing oppo players and selling.............

Yes, Raghu did import half a dozen BDPs from Oppo. They have all been sold. New pieces are not available as Oppo has stopped selling.

Cheers

Whoaa Oppo BDP-80 is 400$?? Awesome, where is gobble? I think his plan of selling his vintage BDP-80 getting a good shape here ;)

On a serious note, why Oppo has stopped both these players? They were really great players. May be for 3D blu-ray player?

They are launching the 93 at the same price as the 83 which is 499 USD and will be a competitor to the Dune.
